Hi, I’m Kathryn!

But you can call me Katie. I am a mechanical engineer living and working in the Boston area, though I’m originally from just outside Philadelphia. Most recently I have worked in RF and defence, though I spent undergrad dipping my toes into fields ranging from automotive racing to biomedical devices. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors and trying my hand at various textile crafts, where the challenge of experimenting with new techniques keeps me busy.

Though not all my experiences relate directly to mechanical engineering, each one has contributed to making me more well-rounded and better able to accomplish what I love doing: creating. There is nothing I find more rewarding than turning a concept into reality.
